Pete Lyons is an international motorsports reporter, photographer, and award-winning book author. He’s worked in the fields of Formula 1, Can-Am, Endurance sports cars, Trans-Am, Indycar, and many other forms of auto racing. On occasion Pete’s also covered drag racing, stock car racing, rallying, hill climbs, motorcycle racing and even airplane racing.  To date Pete has authored 18 published books, his latest being Shadow, The Magnificent Machines Of A Man Of Mystery. Pete’s honors include two Dean Batchelor Awards for Excellence in Journalism, the Ken Purdy Award, The award of Appreciation from the Road Racing Drivers Club, and the International Automotive Media Award for Lifetime Achievement.
