Pete Evanow has worked in and around the automotive industry for some 30 years. He spent 4 years with Nissan Motorsports and its Z-Store. He authored the book Z: 35 Years of Nissan Sports Cars and his newest book is titled Nissan: 50 Years Of Exhilarating Performance with the foreword by Hiroshi Tamura. This Nissan-official chronicle of Z history covers from Datsun’s planning for the new model in the late 1960s through the latest 50th anniversary 370Z. This wonderfully illustrated book also covers the car’s significant racing history and successes in IMSA and SCCA sports car racing including Paul Newman’s racing with Bob Sharp and John Morton with Brock Racing Enterprises. Pete is also a professor in advertising and public relations at California State University, Fullerton. Published by Motorbooks.
