Sandy Copeman is the Founder of Amalgam, a luxury automotive model brand that he created in 1985. He worked as a professional model maker creating a miniature model village building the best of Britain’s architecture and then as a professional architectural model builder. With Amalgam he began developing partnerships with Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes, Pagani, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Bugatti and McLaren, amongst many other important automotive brands, including partnerships with all of the leading F1 Teams. These demanding partners and customers have driven constant improvement and innovation, and Sandy has led the company in keeping ahead of emerging technological, material, digital and design opportunities that Amalgam has embraced, maintaining Amalgam’s positioning as makers of the finest model cars in the world.
