Philip Porter founded Porter Press International in 2005. It is renowned for publishing top-quality motoring books and is firmly established as a leading automotive publisher with an unrivaled team of iconic authors and professionals in the industry. Philip has written over 35 motoring books over a similar number of years. He has won a number of Book of the Year awards and Book of the Decade for his title ‘Jaguar E-Type – The Definitive History’. His first publications were about his hero, Sir Stirling Moss, with whom he became close friends. Philip has a small collection of classic cars that he has owned since the 70s. In 1998 he and his wife Julie formed the International Jaguar XK Club, and later the Jaguar E-Type Club. They live in a Tudor farm house dating back to 1501.
