David Smith is an entrepreneur and a retired industrial designer. He Founded the Precor company and was their President for many years before selling and diving deep into classic automobile research, restoration, and concours judging. He was awarded consumer product of the year award as a designer, hold numerous patents and design awards and acts as a design consultant for vintage Italian cars restorations. David has been a judge at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance for over 30 years with a specialty in Ferrari and Italian design. His classic automobile restorations have earned 33 Pebble Beach class and show awards.

  1. Great Podcast. I had the luck of working for him on his garden! Mentioned his wife I wanted to study Industrial design and then he came out to meet me and invited me to his house days after. I showed him my portfolio and got some great advice. I wish i could meet him again and show him how Im doing! Greetings from Germany!
