Izzy Wright is the future of women in automotive tech. She was born and raised in San Diego, California and recently graduated high school where she was elected to be the ambassador for the Automotive Tech career pathway. After completing the three-year course, Izzy had ultimately fell in love with dissecting cars and the culture that enthusiasts, like herself, enjoy so much. Having to finishing school in the middle of a pandemic, Izzy had a strong desire to utilize my skills and get back under the hood of a car. She landed her first job at Valvoline, a drive-thru oil change shop, where she gets to teach people about the preventive maintenance their car needs, in a way that the someone with no knowledge of cars can understand. When she’s not working, Izzy is either driving or working on her Mazda RX-7.
