Kirk Dooley is the Chief Operating Officer for Skip Barber Racing School and joined the racing industry after having served a distinguished 24-year career in the Marine Corps, the majority of which was spent in the Intelligence and Special Operations communities. His career was marked with a unique variety of assignments that included work at the American Embassies in London and Brazil, and took him to more than 20 countries including Iraq and Afghanistan. After retiring, Kirk and his family relocated to Indianapolis, the Racing Capital of the World, to chase his passion in motorsports. Here he went on to serve as Chief of Staff for the INDYCAR Racing Series, and as Director of Event Operations at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Today, he is proud to be part of the iconic Skip Barber Racing School and to help take this legendary brand to new heights.
