Peter Larsen is a specialist in coachwork and coach building with special focus on the French. He serves as a judge at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, as well as on the Selection Committee of the Concours and he judges at a number of concours d’elegance around the world. Together with his partner Ben Erickson, he is the author of Talbot-Lago Grand Sport: The Car from Paris, Jacques Saoutchik: Maître Carrossier, The Kellner Affair: Matters of Life and Death, and now Volume I of a forthcoming series of books about the French master coach builder Joseph Figoni. The cars bodies made during his business partnership with Ovidio Falaschi from 1935 to 1951 are also included. The first volume, entitled: Joseph Figoni, Le Grand Couturier de la Carrosserie Automobile is about Alfa-Romeo chassis bodied by Figoni. The following books will concern themselves with Bugatti, Delage, Delahaye, and Talbot-Lago.
