Somer Hooker is an expert in the world of vintage motorcycles. He is the chief judge at the Quail Motorcycle Gathering, the Pinehurst Concours, The Cobble Beach Concours, Chattanooga Motor Festival, Audrian Concours , Pinehurst Concours and Salon Prive at Blenheim Palace, UK. He is the author of many articles which have been published in Old Cars Weekly, Sports Car Market, Motorcycle Classics, Walnecks, and New Atlas. He has been a field judge for the Pebble Beach Concours, Hilton Head Concours, Radnor Hunt Concours and was Chief Judge at The Celebration of the Motorcycle and a field judge at The Legend of the Motorcycle. He is a member of The International Council of Judges Advisory Group known as ICJAG. Somer earned a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Educational Psychology and worked in residential therapeutic programs for children and youth and helped establish the first residential program for autistic children in Tennessee.
