Harold Osmer is an author who has written Where They Raced Turn 3, Auto Racing Venues in Southern California, 1900 – 2020, a long awaiting revision of his original classic Where They Raced which has been out of print since 2012. He wrote two additional racing history books, Saugus Speedway Scrapbook and Real Road Racing, in addition to publishing Miss Information’s Automotive Calendar of Events. He was Regional Director for Society of Automotive Historians, announced at the Bonneville Salt Flats and Irwindale Speedway, produces car review videos for LACar.com and served aboard a nuclear submarine. He also produced the annual Turkey Night Grand Prix program for twenty years. He and his daughters build rocket engines while he plays the ukulele.
