Cody Metcalf is the Automotive Instructor for East Valley Institute of Technology in Arizona, and sits on the RPM Foundation Task Force Board for their own Apprenticeship and Internship programs. This has allowed him to take his automotive passion and knowledge and pay it forward to educate the next generation. Prior to being at East Valley Cody was a Master Automotive Technician and Team Lead for a high-volume Toyota dealer in Tempe, Arizona. There he learned the importance of great mentoring and how to turn ones passion into a paycheck and rewarding career. Cody is the recipient of multiple awards including best auto shop, “EVIT”, Rookie teacher of the year, and department Chair at East Valley Institute of Technology.
