Paul Ianuario is the Chief Judge at the Hilton Head Concours d’Elegance and Motoring Festival. Paul is a retired engineer who spent more than 40 years in the automotive supplier industry with 20 years spent with Michelin Tire Corporation working with tire design and fabrication. After retiring from Michelin in 1996, Paul started his own business and is the president of SLR Support Services. His company provides consulting services and support for museums and vehicle related events. He was a Director of the an AACA Museum for 15 years, has consulted and served at automotive museums and events and owns several dozen rare automobiles. He judges numerous prestigious concours events, participates in rallies and tours and is the recipient of the prestigious LEE IACOCCA AWARD for his contributions in preserving automotive history.

INSPIRATION

Tiny Harley, a man he met when Paul was young who helped him build model airplanes and so much more.

1928 Ford Model A ‘research car’ and a 1920 Anderson, built in SC, one of only 7 that remain. A car he hunted to find for 23 years.

  2. Great interview. Wonderful history and stories about the gentleman and the Concours. I liked what he said at the end: It’s not who you know; it’s who knows you.
