Mark Piekarski is a ‘car guy’ who grew up in the auto industry and built a lifetime career around automobiles. He worked for years as a Toyota Dealer changing direction in the mid 1990’s  by developing a chain of Collision repair centers in southern NH. His hobby in car collecting began with antique fire engine. Over the years, he’s owned 10 antique fire trucks and that collection “morphed” when he met his “co-pilot” in life Lennel, a real ‘car girl’, who encouraged him to change the inventory to cars that they could regularly drive, rather than riding in a fire truck in occasional parades. Today Mark and Lennel own 5 collector vehicles and 1 fire truck – and Mark is actively involved in promoting the ‘car enthusiast hobby’ on Hilton Head as President of the Lowcountry Oyster Motor Driving Society, which is the founding club of Hilton Head Concours de Elegance.
