Thomas Annunziata is a 16 year old kart racer and race car driver who is pursuing a career in motorsports. For the last 5 years he has been racing karts, the last 2 years on a national level. He has competed in the SKUSA/USPKS and Rok series. Thomas travels with his father competing in races and he’s home schooled allowing him to compete. Thomas is a multi-time National Champion and is making the jump into cars. He tested a USF2000 car several times and a Mazda Miata twice. Thomas has been selected as a finalist for the Mazda Motorsports Spec MX-5 Shootout. Karters compete for a Spec MX-5 Shootout slot via a combination of physical and mental testing that determine five Mazda scholarship recipients. Racing is a family affair as his father drag races as did his grandfather. He created a NASCAR fan page titled @Nascaroldtimes on Instagram when he was 12 years old and he has 35k followers. There are even some NASCAR drivers and teams that follow Thomas!
