Michael Allen is the author and researcher for the book Ontario Motor Speedway: Racings Paradise Lost that operated in Southern California from 1970 until the end of 1980. The book is a complete history of the fabled and much missed racetrack. The track was a copy of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway but with the added benefits of cutting-edge design. Hosted there were multiple forms of motorsports including IndyCar, NASCAR, Formula One, IMSA, NHRA drag racing and Moto GP cycle racing. Michael is a retired US Air Force KC-135 Aircraft In-Flight Refueling Technician with 39 years of service. He is currently assigned as the Contracting Officers’ Representative (COR) and Quality Assurance Supervisor for the 452 Air Mobility Wing Flight Simulator Facility at March Air Reserve Base in California – Serving since February 2016.
