Jim Taylor is the CEO of Electric Last Mile Solutions, ELMS, where they are transforming commercial fleets to drive the e-mobility business of today and tomorrow. Their technology is designed to deliver the most reliable and most efficient Electric Last Mile Solutions combining integrated deep data analytics, customization, and sustainable engineering. Prior to co-founding ELMS, Jim served as Chief Executive Officer of electric carmaker SERES. Before SERES, he was the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Karma Automotive, a luxury electric car manufacturer, and was also Chief Executive Officer of AMP Electric Vehicles, which acquired Workhorse Group Incorporated. Jim also held various leadership positions at General Motors from 1995 to 2010, including CEO of Hummer and President of Cadillac.

INSPIRATION

The meanest, most demanding, tough, intense person Jim ever worked for  but it turned out to be a valuable lesson in preparing for tough times.

CHALLENGE

Taking over the Hummer brand and seeing it from its start to the bitter end when GM had to shut it all down. Amazingly Jim is now back at the Hummer plant, buying it for ELMS.
