Roman Barnes is the owner of Empire Vintage Autos in Monterey, CA, a business centered around the detailing, cosmetic preservation, and restoration of collector cars. He is also a consultant, provides collection management, and consignment sales of all types of specialty automobiles. Roman has over 30 years in the automotive reconditioning world and has worked on nearly every type of collector car, from Model T’s to Bugattis, and everything in between. Over the decades, his projects have ranged from rescuing dusty, long-forgotten garage finds, to preparing some of the world’s rarest cars for the Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance. When not in the shop he can be found tinkering on his own cars or putting on various events for the automotive community around the Monterey Peninsula with his groups Del Monte Auto Club and Peninsula Cars and Coffee.
