Jim Maetzold is in charge of the Race Car Section of the Concours in the Hills. His passion for motorsports has been life-long having first fell in love with racing at the age of 16 when he attended an SCCA regional race in Minnesota. After watching the Can Am cars run at Road America when he was in college, the hook was set. In the 70s and 80s Jim raced in SCCA events driving a number of Formula Atlantic race cars. In 2015 he started vintage racing in a March Atlantic that Jacques Villeneuve raced. He follows most motorsports with a strong love for F1 and Indy Cars. To support his track addiction Jim owns a heavy equipment sales and rental business in Carefree, Arizona.
