Johans Lamic is an automotive enthusiast and artist whose work is a fusion of his passion and experiences, combining multiple techniques. His Whale Tail Project is a Porsche-related study that pays tribute to Porsche’s racing history. He reinterprets the iconic 930 turbo spoiler by reworking its shape and painting it in the most legendary racing liveries. He only uses original Porsche parts and colors to create his pieces so each Whale Tail comes with its own 30 to 40 years of road trip memories. The idea behind the ‘drops’ is reminiscent of the original aerodynamical function of the object. As air is a liquid, the drops symbolize fluidity and speed.
