Larry Printz has been one of the nation’s top journalists for more than two decades. His automotive column, distributed by Tribune News Service, reaches nearly 9 million readers nationwide, and more internationally. Most recently, Larry was named Executive Editor at The Detroit Bureau.com, a growing authoritative news source in the automotive world. He was the first Editor-In-Chief at Dealer.com, one the nation’s top automotive dotcoms, and Fox Business News sought him out as an expert commentator. Larry has worked for numbers of the nation’s top media companies and his work is sought out by Audi USA and Ford Motor Company. In 2021, he won three Automotive Heritage Foundation awards, up from the two he won in 2020 and he completed two posters for the Antique Automobile Club of America’s 2022 Grand National, to be held in May 2022 in Virginia Beach. In his spare time, Larry serves as an emcee and judge at top collector car shows across the United States including The Palm Event at the Mar-A-Lago Club in Palm Beach Florida.

INSPIRATION

Patrick Jake O’Rourke was very influential to Larry’s career. along with Jeremy Clarkson, from Top Gear and Grand Tour who is a brilliant writer.

CHALLENGE 

While being an editorial cartoonist he received death threats which lead to him changing his career path.
