Karl Noakes hails from England and his passion for cars and motorsport began during the glory days of Group B rally cars. He has had a successful career high-tech, of which the last 25 being with Microsoft. Karl rekindled his passion for photography, a few images he posted got noticed and connections were made. It was the catalyst to establishing Karl in the PNW automotive community. Upon his recent retirement, Adam Kramer, a past Cars Yeah guest and Founder of Avants, invited Karl to take on the editor-in-chief role for amazing Avants magazine. The latest issue was his first in ‘charge’ with notable coverage of Mercedes 300 SLR, ISO Rivolta, and Land Rovers to name a few. Now Karl is official photography for ProFormance Racing, Flying Husky Racing, and is also helping collectors/dealers with BaT Premium Listings amongst other things. Motorsport remains his passion – he got to shoot F1 at COTA last year, and will be covering IMSA series this year starting with Sebring.
