Maria Jannace is the Founder and CEO of The New York City Concours and the Fort Lauderdale Concours.  She owns Maxim Creative Group and Maxim Sports Management. Maria has worked with a broad scope of clients within the motorsports and automotive sectors. From managing the marketing and advertising for the Skip Barber Racing Organization in the early 1990’s, to undertaking, creating, and managing the massive venture of finding the next American Formula 1 Champion, the Red Bull F1 Driver Search. She created the initial branding for Major League Baseball’s Florida Marlins, who went from being virtually non-existent, to becoming World Series Champions. Other brands she worked with include: Blockbuster Video, Miami Dolphins, Florida Panthers, Playboy, Ferrari North America, Porsche North America, Lime Rock Park, and many others.

INSPIRATION

Her uncle who had an agency in New York where she worked in the ad game. Also, Skip Barber who founded the Skip Barber Racing School.

CHALLENGE

Finding the sponsor for her driver search program, while working with Nigel Mansell, was a big challenge. A cold call to Dietrich Mateschitz, owner of Red Bull, is all it took to make it happen.
