Doug Andreassen is currently serving as President of the Pacific Northwest Porsche Club, a position he has held for 4 years. He has served on the PNWR board in various positions prior to being elected President. Doug is also currently serving as the Vice President for the Tacoma Historical Society and the chair of the Metropolitan Parks and Recreation Business Advisory Committee. He also serves in the Metropolitan Park Watch program to improve safety in the Point Defiance Park. Doug is past President of Washington Youth Soccer, 8 years as President, 15 years on the board and he’s served in various capacities for US Soccer, The United States Youth Soccer Association. He was former Chair of the US Soccer Diversity Task Force. Doug’s career has included a wide variety of companies and ventures and he is the Co-Owner of Andreassen Property Developments and Northwest Publishing/Arctic Printing Company.

INSPIRATION

Working with a quadriplegic, Doug was inspired by this man’s abilities and worth ethic.

CHALLENGE

Being diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and dealing with chemotherapy and radiation, and not knowing if he would survive the cancer much less the therapy.
