James Herr is the Project Manager at Summit Racing Equipment, a company he started working at in 1998. Summit Racing Equipment was born in 1968 by a young engineer who wanted to fix up his ’67 Corvette with performance products and today they are the go-to-parts source for thousands of gear head around the world. James comes from a long line of automotive enthusiasts, from race car drivers to mechanics. He spent 14 years running the Inbound and Outbound Operations at Summit and in 2012 he managed their retail store, a position he held for 10 years. Today he works in project management in their corporate offices and with vendors. James has been involved with Hot August Nights on their Board of Directors as their President.
