Chris MacAllister is the President and COO of MacAllister Machinery, a company he’s worked at since the age of 9 and a business his grandfather founded in 1945. His skillfulness with mechanics at work carried into his personal life, starting with his participation in motocross racing, where he won 49 trophies, and his hobby of rebuilding his motocross bikes. He progressed to collecting and racing vintage and classic cars, which he restores and modifies. Cars are the big thing these days, and with a stable of classic vehicles, Chris not only races them and drives them on tours, he also drives them to work most days. His passion for cars has even carried over into his home, where he lives. The Brendonwood estate is a home built by Walter Marmon, Howard Marmon’s brother. Howard Marmon is the man who initiated the Marmon Motor Company in Indianapolis in 1902.
