Preston was inspired by the many people who worked with Carroll Shelby on his cars and race teams, and telling their story was his inspiration.

CHALLENGES

Making sure the same information wasn’t rehashed and he did this by talking to those he worked with who are still around.

  1. Preston.

I’m just a regular guy that like cars. I’ve had two Porsche’s and considering a third. The last one, a 2006 4s 997 was fantastic car and regret selling it. I’m not wealthy, so I have to focus my attention on the the 997 models, 07 and 08’s. My concern is this huge EV push and how will it effect the value of old cars like the ones I’m looking at?

  2. Hi Preston,
Forgive me using such an obtuse form of communication.
About 3 years ago you wrote an article in MOTORSPORT (UK mag) profiling MICHAEL FERNER, the German enthusiast who specialises in US racing history. I have unsuccessfully tried to contact Herr Ferner who clearly maintains a low profile. Could I ask you to email Herr Ferner (giving him my email address) asking him to contact me about the mass of original research about Daniel Zimmermann that I hold and that I am sure he would like to see.
Many thanks for your anticipated help.
