Eliot Wertheimer is the CEO at Lavoie, a new premium mobility brand born from McLaren Applied on a mission to redefine personal transport through luxury automotive and motorsport-inspired design, engineering, and electrification. Bitten by the curiosity bug early, Eliot studied Aerospace Engineering, graduating top of his cohort with a thesis on proof-of-concept radioisotope thermoelectric generators – nuclear batteries for nanosatellites. His research was awarded the Reaction Engines prize and led to him pursuing a Masters of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management at Imperial College London. He is pushing the envelope of what emobility can achieve by launching LAVOIE – from design to manufacture, delivery to customer experience. He’s on a mission to break the status quo, challenge the perception of personal electric transportation, and rewrite the rules on urban mobility of personal electric transportation, and rewrite the rules on urban mobility.
