Mercedes Thompson is a Junior at McPherson College and a recent recipient of the RPM Foundation Grant. She’s pursuing a degree in automotive restoration design with the goal to open her own business that will have a focus on automotive design and marketing. Mercedes has always had a pull towards cars ever since she was a child, often joining her father in the garage to help work on projects and attending car shows with him. Her parents have always taught Mercedes to follow her passions and not the money when it comes to choosing a career. She took that to heart as she pursues her goals into the future.
