Germany Greer has embraced a deep abiding love for classic cars since his childhood. He has restored over 35 automobiles ranging from a 1954 Crown Victoria to a 1972 BMW Bavaria. His most recent project is a 1985 Mercedes-Benz, a car he enjoys driving and showing in the Atlanta area. He has judged at numerous concours events including Amelia Island, Hilton Head, the European Festival, and the Shelton Vineyards Concours. Germany writes for several publications including Automobilia, the S.L. Market Letter, the Mercedes-Benz Star, and Hemmings Classic Car. In addition to these talents, he is also an avid photographer who loves to visit automotive museums around the country.

The Barber Museum and Jim Roberts from the Mercedes Museum are inspiring to Germany and many great drivers are as well including A.J. Foyt. 

CHALLENGES

Germany restored and painted a car he entered into a show, only to find out that the color he painted his car was patented, which lead to a reprimand from GM.
