Ray Shaffer is a Car Specialist and Ambassador for Broad Arrow and Hagerty Marketplace. He is a Porsche personality and expert on the marque, with over 32 years of experience in the automotive and motorsports profession. Before joining Broad Arrow Group, Ray spent 7 years at Porsche Cars North America at their Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta where he served as a manager for Porsche Classic Market Development and as their Heritage Gallery Curator. Ray has been pioneering industry-leading ideas throughout his career, launching an early YouTube channel at Brumos Porsche where he worked for 17 years, culminating as General Manager. Ray was drawn to cars from a young age, first working in the detailing department of a local Pittsburgh dealership, then working his way up through sales. He is a racer who started driving in Sprint Karts and today races a RAD-era, factory built Porsche 944 Turbo Cup car.
