Above is my father, sister, and me when I was 5 years old with Dad’s 1949 MGTC, the car that started my passion for automobiles.

Hello Inspiring Automotive Enthusiasts and welcome to Cars Yeah.  This is a very special Mile-Marker show. Today, I celebrate 9 years of producing and hosting the Cars Yeah podcast. I am honored to have brought you 2,325 shows and shared the stories of so many Inspiring Automotive Enthusiasts™. I thank you for riding along with me and giving me your time by listening. One of my past Inspiring Automotive Enthusiasts, Gregg Blue, after appearing here on Cars Yeah, asked if he could interview me. Gregg and I hit it off despite our very different backgrounds and career paths, but the world of cars made us instant friends. Perhaps our shared history of catching waves surfing helped a little bit too. Today, I am in Maui with a very special guest by the name of Gregg Blue who’s going to be flipping the mic and giving me what he calls a Hawaiian “Gregg’s Grilling.” So buckle up, and perhaps you’ll learn a thing or two about me, the story behind Cars Yeah, and my life-long passion for cars and people’s stories. Like an un-chartered road trip, who knows where this will go…

  1. Who better to be interviewed, than the interviewer himself. It was a great listen. Congratulations on reaching such an amazing milestone. Can’t wait for the next 2,3456789…. shows.

  2. Mark:

All I can say is Wow! … What a catalog of interesting, committed people.

All “car people” sure, but with ideas and sense of purpose that are universal and applicable to many phases of life.

Take care, stay well, drive Porsche,
    -Doug Stokes

  3. Have you ever interviewed anyone from the Coatesville Vintage Grand Prix in Coatesville PA?

The annual race is September 16.
