Bob Barber is an automotive painter who has been laying down color for decades. He started sweeping up and cleaning cars at a neighborhood shop at the age of 14. At 19 he entered the Marine Corps and painted some friends’ cars at the base shop. After getting out of the service he opened a small 3-bay shop where he painted drag cars. He next started at Molin Body where he stayed for 27 years. There he painted Ferraris, Aston Martins, and exotics, learning his trade along the way. He also painted Penske race cars including 2 Indy winners. In 1998 Bob started his own business, working on high-end cars, race cars, and more. Today he works with his son, laying down paint, improving their work, and making vehicles look fantastic.
Above is one of the many race cars Bob Painted.

My late husband, Kirk F. White, loved Bob Barber and had tremendous respect for his wonderful skill. Kirk had Bob do many, many projects for him and considered Bob a special friend. So glad you had him on your podcast.
