Brendan Garst is a Colorado car enthusiast, old-car apologist, and editor-in-chief of SHIFT Colorado magazine, a digital publication built as a volunteer effort by himself and other like-minded enthusiasts from the Colorado Cars and Coffee organization. The project started in 2022, and is now in its seventh quarterly issue, and he enjoys co-leading one of the best groups of amateur car journalists around. He’s a Brendan is a rabid Audi enthusiast, especially for their older five-cylinder cars. Brendan spends his time working on the magazine, cars, and his accounting skills at his day job. His favorite car event is the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Brought to you by Gran Turismo, which he volunteers as pit crew for his friends’ teams each year.
