Jim and Chris Ochs are brothers and the Founders of Car Corral, an online automotive auction company that provides the perfect blend of excitement, variety, and community surrounding the world of automobiles. Jim and Chris grew up in Colorado in a family with eight kids, Chris being the oldest of the clan. Chris is a third-generation union carpenter, a licensed aircraft mechanic, a car builder, and die-hard enthusiast. He helped his dad restore a 1930 Chevrolet Sedan back in 1977 when he was only 13 years old and the car bug bit him hard. Jim has always been fascinated with all things mechanical and got the car bug from his older brothers, aka the ‘Duke Boys’, and brings his passion to the Car Corral auction site.

INSPIRATION

A neighbor who was an old school oval school racer was an inspiration back when Chris was younger. For Jim, the Duke Boys and the Dukes of Hazard TV show was his inspiration when growing up.

CHALLENGE

A big challenge was creating the website so it worked for everyone involved. Additionally getting the word out that Car Corral existed has been challenging.
