So sad too hear of Davids passing! I have know him since 1989 and have went on a lot of amazing adventures with him. Weather it was building a jeep xj for his daughter Kate or going too bonneville . We took many trips too LA and met a lot of influential car people from Boyd coddington, Chip Foose, Vic Edelbrock,Gene Winfield and AJ Foyt etc. He was a great man and will be missed by all that knew him.
I learned last week, April 12th, 2022, that my friend David Fetherston had passed away last year. I’m very saddened by this as I was his tour leader on a commercial camping tour from Los Angeles to Anchorage. He was full of humor, suggestions, and very good company. He had come to the US not only to travel, but to take a hand coloring photography class in San Francisco. He asked me if I knew of anyone he should get to know while he was visiting. I said sure, look up my friend Gloria, and so he did. That was in 1979. They not only became life partners but business partners too.
As a present to me, he took my wedding pictures when I married in 1987. What a thoughtful and heartfelt present. But since I moved, we hadn’t seen much of each other in years. He was a great friend and I already miss him.
