Tommy-Byrne

Tommy Byrne has been a professional racer and operates a race driving and coaching service. Today Tommy runs Diablo Drift Driving Academy. It’s a mobile driving school for teens and adults where they teach advanced driving skills necessary to remain safe on the road. He designed the drift mechanism that can be taken to parking lots and tracks for teaching car control. In his racing career Tommy has five Formula 1 starts, tested for Marlboro McLaren Formula 1 Team, raced in Indy Lights, and he was the European FF 2000 Champion and British FF 2000 Champion. He’s also a double British Formula Ford Champion and winner of the William Hill Irish Sports Book of the year winner with his autobiography Crashed and Byrned.
