Skip Barber is the President and the sole owner of the world’s most beautiful and historically significant motorsports and automotive venues Lime Rock Park. He started racing in 1958 and he won his first race and held 32 track records around the country. He founded the Skip Barber Racing School in 1975 and built it in to a premier organization that launched many professional driver’s careers. Skip sold the school in 1999 and in 1983 he acquired Lime Rock Park with six other investors. Since buying them all out the track and facility has undergone massive improvements to keep this iconic track on course in to the future.
