Derek Tam-Scott is the Founder of The Motoring Enthusiast. His goal is to bring you quality content about interesting cars, whether you are buying, selling, or just kicking tires. Derek is a lifelong automotive enthusiast who started working when he was only 16 years old at Fantasy Junction in California. There he learned the collector car consignment, consulting, and brokerage business and set off on his own to create a career around his passion for automobiles. As an undergrad at Stanford he built his business and today operates it in addition to a full time career where he’s the Marketing Strategy and Business Development Analyst at Icon Aircraft in the San Francisco bay area.
