Alan Johnson is a long time automotive enthusiast who was a high-performance driving instructor, author, racer, and speaker with four SCCA National Championships to his credit. He has class wins in the Sebring 12 hours, a TransAm win and raced in the Daytona 24 Hour. He co-authored the book Driving in Competition, a successful book on road racing and a re-write is coming next year. He was the owner and General Manager at Alan Johnson Porsche Audi and partner at Scottsdale Porsche, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover. Alan was a board member at the San Diego Automotive Museum and currently serves on the San Diego Air & Space Museum Board. Today he is an Executive Consultant and Associate at MAP, Management Action Programs.

  1. Alan Johnson also was the Dealership Principal / Owner of Alan Johnson Porsche + Audi in San Diego California.
    I worked there as a working Shop Foreman (Audi) from 1984 until the Doors Closed Permanently in 1990.

  2. I was his secretary from 1979 to 1982 and he was a wonderful, patient, kind boss and always looking out for the best for his employees. He was very professional and I loved working for him.
