Bill should have asked Roger Barr to look at the car and pass by the shop’s owner.
Great stories by Bill Warner. Brings back many memories of our own cars. Particularly the one about his Ferrari Daytona. We have had all those problems and more with our Ferraris over the years. I was always amazed at what we were all willing to put up with out on the road. On those few occasions when everything was working right, a Ferrari at speed was a flight to heaven. Other times when things were breaking and leaking and falling off, they were a pain in the butt.
But we loved them anyway in the days when used Ferraris were affordable and we could work on them ourselves. The whole thing has changed. You can’t even change the oil yourself on modern Ferraris. One good thing about being old. We were.. there for all the good old days and participated in most of it.
