Mike Lempert owns and operates Lempert Wheels in Charleston, South Carolina. After retiring from a 28 year career in telecommunications Mike accelerated head first into his passion, the classic car hobby. He was originally going to sell specialty parts but after building his first wood rimmed steering wheel the focus of his business became clear. Mike crafts unique, custom steering wheels for all kinds of classic automobiles working with exotic woods from all over the world. He also restores vintage steering wheels for those who want authenticity in their classic cars.
