It’s never too late to start over. And if you are older, say as old as me, you’re not really starting over. You’re starting from experience.
The worst thing you can do is put off a new start.
This week marks a milestone for the Cars Yeah podcast. I have interviewed over 1,400 Inspiring Automotive Enthusiasts™. Many of my guests started over. Some of them started over and over and over again. Seth Burgett left his business world and started Gateway Bronco where they give new life to old Ford Broncos. Debbie Briscoe stepped outside her comfort zone after a career as a teacher and started vintage racing as did Renee Brinkerhoff who has raced her 356 Porsche on seven continents. Francis Abate went back to college in his 50 to learn automotive restoration. Ramsey Potts left a successful career, that he didn’t enjoy, to help collectors buy and sell collector cars at RM Sotheby’s.
I have interviewed hundreds of Inspiring Automotive Enthusiasts™ who restarted their lives.
If you wake up on Monday’s with little hope, no joy, and lacking inspiration, maybe it’s time for you to ‘restart’ your career, your life, and live your passion. You can listen to any of the hundreds of Cars Yeah Alumni who have figured out the secret to a happy life.
You’ll thank me later for their inspiring stories.
Thanks Mark, I needed this message this morning.
Contgrats Mark! I love the phrase starting from experience.
Great thought turned (article) the only Problem and it is a Problem is, It left at least me wanting More! Keep it up Mark your e mail is one I never delete.
Yep. I’ve started and failed more than thrice but as long as I’m living I’ll keep on putting the key in the ignition and keep a-going.
“The masses are always wrong – Wisdom is doing everything the crowd does not do. All you do is reverse the totality of their learning and you have the heaven they’re looking for.”
Mister Greene:
Your notes today are very well-taken my friend. We all need each other to gauge our own lives, The stories that you’ve presented have been building blocks, each different, but each not only interesting … but in so many cases instructive. One thousand four hundred stories that inspired, entertained (maybe even instructed a bit) … that’s a whole bunch of field reporting from the participants.
Of, course, I know what you’d reply to that observation: “Stay tuned, there’s more.”
Yeah,

… and living in Gig Harbor over across that dancing bridge doesn’t hurt either.
Great message Mark!
Thank you Rob!
