Henry Ford is well known for his many insightful and inspiring quotes. His dreams, goals, innovations, and perseverance are well known in the automotive world. I love many of his quotes and one of my favorites is a simple thought about how you believe.
If you think you can do a thing, or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.
In a recent talk with Patrick Hong, a Cars Yeah guest (his show goes live 11-20-14) Patrick shared his passion for life long learning and how important it is to exercise your mind through challenging yourself to constantly learn and experience new things. He shared with me another Henry Ford quote that struck a cord.
Anyone who keeps learning stays young.
The entire quote goes like this: “Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.” Today’s technology allows for more learning and sharing than ever before. With a click of a mouse the world is open to your inquiries. However, what you do with that knowledge is the key. Here’s another great Ford quote.
You can’t build a reputation on what you are going to do.
What’s your favorite inspirational quote and what are you going to do with that knowledge?

Yes I think he was probably way ahead of his time. Now we know scientifically that new learning and thus creating new neural connections in our brain literally is dementia prevention and thus keeps our brains young.
Mark, I love the “success quotes” provided by your interview guests. For me, those are the most inspiring parts of the podcasts. Learning the stories of how each guest came to their success is a close second. Keep up the good work.
