Lee Klancher is the Founder and Publisher of Octane Press, an award-winning book publishing company that specializes in books about motorsports and machines. His career encompasses more than 30 years of publishing great stories. As an editor and publisher, he has overseen the development of some of the most-respected and best-selling books in the transportation niche. Lee is a prolific author, photographer and contributor to more than 30 books and dozens of national magazines. He and his camera have traveled the world to chronicle internal combustion-powered machines and adventures, and he has made images in the Bolivian Amazon, the Australian Outback, and all over North America from Alaska’s Dalton Highway to Baja, Mexico. He also has led teams that built massive photo studios to make images of collectible farm tractors.
