Jaime Hjelm is the co-owner along with her sister Naomi of their automotive repair shop they call Wicked Wrench Co.. She is a self-taught car builder who built her first transmission from an ASTG manual back in 1996, it was a 700R4. She’s built a hundred plus trannies since then. She learned body work from her father and together with her brother built a 1962 Bonneville for World of Wheels and the Lowrider show car circuit back in 1998 through 2002. She’s modeled for several automotive magazines in the late 1990s and she’s been a fleet mechanic for over a decade. She owns a fleet of taxis and is a taxi meter dealer, mother to twin 16 year old boys and competed on Motor Trends ‘Bitchin Boot Camp’ by Bitchin Rides, season 1 in 2020 with her brother Frank. And she was the Dickies “American Worker of the Year” regional finalist in 2008.
