Samir Abid is the founder of Your Data Driven, a digital toolkit to help you reduce your lap times. The site includes easy to understand race car engineering articles, spreadsheets, online courses, a book, a weekly newsletter and even a podcast. Your Data Driven’s goal is to help racers work through the complexities so that they can have more success and more fun from their motorsports. An Engineer, Samir has worked in both vehicle dynamics and sports engineering. He has designed suspension for road and racing cars – for brands such as Aston Martin and Multimatic Motorsports. For Olympic and Pro sports teams, Samir has spent 10 years helping sports scientists, coaches and Performance Directors make better decisions using their data. He is also a successful Club Racer.
