Sarah Montgomery is a racer competing in the World Racing League in a BMW M4 GT4 with Round 3 Racing. She started racing after attending an IndyCar event at the age of 10 and drove go karts in dirt ovals and won 3 Championships. Spec Miata was next that she raced before having a driver’s license. Professional level racing soon began in the Battery Tender Maxda MX5 Cup Series in 2014 and in her rookie year she was the highest finishing female and top 10 in points, being the first woman to podium in the Global Mazda MX5 Cup Series. She drove a Porsche Boxster in WRL in 2020 and for the 2021 season, Sarah competed in the highest class of WRL driving a Porsche GT4 car earning a win at the 24 hours of Sebring race in October. When Sarah is not racing, she is a driving instructor at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, GA and selling people their dream homes in real estate.

INSPIRATION

Sarah’s father was her key inspiration into the world of racing.

CHALLENGES

In 2017 Sarah had a bad crash at Mosport in Canada, had to pay for a totaled race car, and had to find a way back into racing.
