Swin Chatsuwan is the CEO and founder of Zapp Electric Vehicles, a company on a mission to introduce high quality and high-performance products which are also Gen-2 sustainable to the electric motorbike market. Zapp EV’s first product, the i300, is the first of its kind, offering superbike levels of performance and components combined with the ‘step-through’ form of a scooter. It offers riders the best of both worlds: thrilling performance and high levels of agility. Swin’s background is in finance – for 27 years he provided advisory services to the global automotive industry, including debt and the equity capital market. He has always been passionate about all things automotive. He learned to ride a motorbike in his early teens, leading him to become involved in car and motorbike racing, as well as investing in car and motorbike distribution businesses at a personal level.
